Landscape Services for Your Home

Most of our work falls into two kinds of days. Some are planned: lawn care, landscape design, fresh mulch and beds, sod installation and hardscape installation. Others follow high wind and heavy rain: tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, stump grinding, bamboo removal and property cleanup. Irrigation and seasonal cleanup sit in between, since one rough afternoon can break sprinkler heads and bury beds that were fine the week before.

  • Worker in a gray shirt and cap pushes a walk-behind mower along a concrete path, leaving striped St. Augustine grass in a backyard with a white vinyl fence

    Lawn Care

Regular mowing, feeding, weed control and turf checks that keep St. Augustine and zoysia lawns dense, plus calm help getting grass back after heavy weather.

  • Two landscapers kneel planting shrubs in a curved bed with a stone border beside a single-story stucco house as a man watches from the lawn near a wheelbarrow

    Landscape Design

Planting and layout plans that look settled on day one and hold up to summer downpours, high wind and the slow work of Florida sun.

  • Over-the-shoulder view of a gloved worker spreading dark brown mulch around a shrub in a brick-edged bed by a palm trunk, with a wheelbarrow of mulch beside the lawn

    Mulch and Beds

Weeds cleared, edges recut and fresh mulch laid at a measured depth, with beds rebuilt after heavy rain has washed them out.

  • Worker kneeling on St. Augustine grass adjusting a pop-up sprinkler head near a mulched bed, with an irrigation controller mounted on a stucco wall by the garage

    Irrigation

Sprinkler repair, zone tune-ups, drip lines for beds and controller upgrades that put water where your lawn and plantings need it.

  • Landscaping crew in a Florida front yard: one worker with a backpack leaf blower, one raking near the driveway, one trimming shrubs beside paper bags of leaves

    Seasonal Cleanup

Leaf and limb removal, bed cutbacks, edging and haul-away, timed for spring oak drop and the run-up to hurricane season.

  • Worker in a cap and gray shirt unrolling fresh sod over bare soil in a fenced backyard beside a stucco house, with sod rolls stacked on a pallet nearby

    Sod Installation

We strip worn or storm-damaged turf, regrade the soil and lay fresh sod that roots in and drains the way it should.

  • Worker kneeling on a sand bed, setting gray concrete pavers with a rubber mallet beside a stucco home with fresh planting beds and palm trees

    Hardscape Installation

Paver patios, walkways, driveways and low retaining walls set on a properly compacted base, graded to move water away from your home.

  • Worker in gloves and work pants cutting a fallen oak limb with an orange chainsaw, sawdust flying, branches and cut logs scattered on the ground behind

    Tree Trimming and Removal

Careful pruning, hanging-limb removal and full tree takedowns, planned so your home, lawn and beds come through the work intact.

  • Worker in a cap and jeans trims old frond boots from a palm trunk with a chainsaw beside a stucco house, with a pile of cut fronds on the lawn

    Palm Tree Pruning and Removal

Dead fronds, seed stalks and storm-damaged or diseased palms handled with clean cuts, sectional removal and a tidy yard afterward.

  • Worker in jeans and gray shirt operating a yellow walk-behind stump grinder on a tree stump in a front lawn beside shrubs along a house wall

    Stump Grinding

We grind leftover stumps and surface roots below grade, then rake out the chips and backfill so the spot can take sod, a bed or a new tree.

  • Worker with a long-handled tool digging out a bamboo clump beside a stucco house, with cut bamboo canes on the paver walkway and a wheelbarrow full of cuttings

    Bamboo Removal

We cut, dig and sift out running or clumping bamboo, rhizomes included, then haul it away so the ground is ready for sod, beds or a new design.

  • Three workers clear oak leaves from a Florida front yard with a backpack blower and rakes, with a row of filled paper yard bags lined along the driveway.

    Property Cleanup

A one-time reset for a yard after severe weather, a long vacancy or years of overgrowth, with debris hauled off and beds, lawn and hardscape left clean.

What Shapes the Cost of a Job

Every yard is different, so we price from what we see on site. These are the things that move the number most. Knowing them ahead of time helps you compare estimates fairly.

Your estimate is free and written line by line after we walk the property with you. For larger projects, financing is available up to $100,000 on 2 to 12-year terms with no prepayment penalties.

Size and height of the tree
A mature live oak or a tall laurel oak takes more climbing, rigging and time than a small ornamental. Height also decides whether we can work from the ground or need a lift.
Access to the work
A tree in an open front yard is simpler than one wedged behind a pool screen or over a neighbor's fence. Narrow side gates mean more hand-carrying and smaller equipment.
Volume of debris to haul
After high wind, the limbs, fronds and leaf litter add up quickly. Hauling and disposal are priced by how much material leaves your property.
Hazard and condition
Wood that is split, hung up in another tree or resting on a structure has to be taken down in small, controlled pieces. That slower method protects your home and adds labor.
Restoration after cleanup
Replacing torn sod, repairing broken irrigation heads, refreshing mulch or grinding a stump are separate line items. You can choose which to do now and which to schedule later.
Permits
Some tree removals require a city permit. We check before work begins, and any permit cost shows on your estimate.

How a Job Runs

From the first call to the last rake, here is what to expect.

  1. 1

You call and describe what happened

Tell us what you are seeing: a down limb, a leaning palm, a yard full of debris or a project you have been planning. We set a time to come out.

  2. 2

We walk the property with you

We look at trees, beds, turf and irrigation together, point out hazards and take photos. You get a clear sense of what is urgent.

  3. 3

    You receive a written estimate

Each task is listed and priced on its own, so you can approve all of it or only the parts that matter now.

  4. 4

We do the work and protect the yard

The crew lays ground protection, works around your home with care and keeps walkways clear. If something unexpected turns up, we stop and talk with you before going further.

  5. 5

    Cleanup and a final look

We haul debris, blow off hard surfaces and walk the yard with you at the end so nothing is left unfinished.

Why Homeowners Call Us After a Storm

After a bad blow, the hard part is knowing what is urgent and what can wait. We slow the decision down just enough to make it a good one.

We sort urgent from cosmetic

A cracked limb hanging over the roof and a flattened hedge are not the same problem. On the walkthrough we tell you which items carry real risk and which can be scheduled later, so you spend money in the right order.

Photos and a line-item estimate

We photograph what we find and write each task as its own line: removal, hauling, grinding, replanting. If you are filing an insurance claim, that record is easy to share with your adjuster. We explain how it fits the process, but the coverage decision stays with your insurer.

Covered before we climb

Tree and palm work near a house, fence or pool cage carries risk. Our business is licensed and fully insured, and we are glad to talk through what that means for the job at your home before work starts.

A careful finish

We are a family-owned company, and we work like it's our own yard. That means lowering heavy wood with ropes instead of dropping it on turf, laying mats where equipment crosses the lawn, and raking and blowing the site clean before we leave.

Honest about what can be saved

A leaning oak is not always a loss, and a palm with a few torn fronds rarely needs to come down. We give you a straight repair-or-replace answer.

About Altamonte Springs Landscaping

Our everyday work is keeping yards healthy and good-looking: mowing and edging St. Augustine lawns, cutting crisp bed lines, choosing plants that tolerate sandy soil and summer heat, and building patios and walkways that drain properly in heavy rain.

Hurricane season runs from June through November, and that is when calls change. A summer squall can split an oak, bury beds in leaf litter and snap irrigation lines in an afternoon. We built our storm work around calm judgment: look first, explain what we see, then fix the problems that protect your home before the cosmetic ones. Once the yard is safe, we stay to restore it, because a cleared yard and a finished yard are not the same thing.

Questions Homeowners Ask

Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come out, walk the property with you and give you a written, line-item estimate at no charge. There is no obligation to book the work.
A storm just came through. What should I do first?
Stay clear of any limb touching a power line and call the utility about it, since that is their job, not ours. Take photos of the damage before anything is moved. Then call us to set up a walkthrough, and we will help you decide what needs attention now and what can wait.
Will you work with my insurance company?
We provide photos and an itemized estimate that you can send to your adjuster, and we are happy to explain what each line covers. We do not act as your adjuster or decide what your policy pays. Many homeowners find a clear written record makes the claim conversation simpler.
Does a damaged palm always need to come down?
No. Palms are built to bend, and many lose fronds in high wind without lasting harm. We check the crown and trunk, and if the bud is healthy we usually recommend pruning instead of removal. We also avoid over-pruning, since stripping a palm down to a few fronds weakens it.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
Sometimes. Many Central Florida cities regulate removal of certain trees, depending on species, size and whether the tree is a hazard. We check the requirements for your property before work starts and include any permit cost in the estimate.
Do you offer financing for bigger projects?
Yes. Financing is available up to $100,000 on terms from 2 to 12 years, with no prepayment penalties. It is often used for full landscape redesigns, hardscape installation or large restoration work after a rough season.
Do you also handle regular yard care?
Yes, and most of our weeks are spent on it: lawn care, mulch and beds, irrigation, sod installation and seasonal cleanup. Keeping trees trimmed and beds maintained through the year also means fewer surprises when hurricane season comes around.
